1 Acceptance of Terms & Operator Attribution

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Vendor", or "Organizer") and Artistic World Graphics ("Company", "we", "us"), the sole owner and operator of Hive Logic (hivelogic.ca).

By accessing the website, searching directory listings, submitting business entries, submitting community events, or purchasing advertising placements, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

2 Directory Vendor Responsibilities & Listing Standards

To maintain exceptional regional trust and consumer confidence, all participating merchants, trades, and service operators must comply with our directory standards:

• Legitimate Regional Presence: Participating businesses must be actively operating commercial enterprises, registered trades, professional services, or artisans with operations or service delivery in British Columbia (Okanagan, Vancouver, Kootenays, Sea-to-Sky) or Alberta.
• Truthful Representation: All listing information—including business name, credentials, municipal licensing status, trade certifications, service boundaries, pricing, and operational hours—must be accurate, current, and verifiable.
• Prohibited Submissions: Listings promoting predatory multi-level marketing (MLM), unlicensed financial/medical practices, unlawful substances, counterfeit goods, adult entertainment, defamatory attacks, or fraudulent promotions are strictly prohibited.
• Editorial & Moderation Authority: Artistic World Graphics reserves the unilateral right to edit business summaries for formatting/SEO clarity, reclassify taxonomy assignments, or reject/remove any listing that fails to meet quality standards.

3 Community Event Submissions & Organizer Obligations

Hive Logic welcomes submissions for public community festivals, farmers markets, sports tournaments, fundraisers, and regional celebrations across Western Canada.

Event organizers warrant that all submitted event dates, venue details, and ticketing conditions are accurate. Organizers bear exclusive responsibility for municipal permits, attendee safety, venue insurance, and event cancellations. Artistic World Graphics accepts no responsibility or liability for altered schedules, inclement weather cancellations, or organizer conduct.

4 Advertising Placements, Directory Tiers & Rate Card Terms

Businesses may upgrade to premium exposure tiers (Featured Regional Spotlight, Multi-Region Pro Pass, or Header Leaderboard sponsorships).

• Placement Delivery: Purchasing a premium tier guarantees prioritized display positioning, verified badge rendering, or designated ad slot placement as outlined in our published Rate Card.
• Performance Disclaimers: While premium tiers substantially increase impressions and SEO authority, Artistic World Graphics does not guarantee specific sales conversion volumes, lead quotas, or commercial revenue.
• No Refund Policy on Activated Placements: Because digital advertising and directory placements are delivered instantly upon approval, fees for sponsored placements, monthly subscription intervals, or annual passes are non-refundable once activated.

5 Intellectual Property & Content License

Listing submitters retain ownership of all pre-existing trademarks, logos, photography, and brand assets provided in their submission.

By submitting content to Hive Logic, you grant Artistic World Graphics a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to index, format, reproduce, publicly display, and distribute the submitted text, images, and brand identifiers solely in connection with operating, indexing, promoting, and syndicating the Hive Logic directory.

6 Comprehensive Disclaimer of Warranties ("As Is")

The platform and all directory listings are provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or workmanship.

Users interact with, hire, purchase from, or visit listed businesses entirely at their own risk. Artistic World Graphics disclaims all liability for any contractual disputes, defective workmanship, injury, property damage, or financial loss arising from transactions between users and listed enterprises.

7 Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Artistic World Graphics, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, goodwill, data, or business interruption) arising out of the use of or inability to use the platform.

In all circumstances, the cumulative monetary liability of Artistic World Graphics arising from or related to any claim under these Terms shall be strictly capped at the total amount actually paid by you to Artistic World Graphics for advertising or directory services in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the incident.

8 Governing Law & British Columbia Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to Hive Logic shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada, for the resolution of any litigation or proceeding.
